First conversation
You introduce the subject, the format you have in mind, and what makes the project meaningful to you.
A commissioned work begins where your story, my gaze, and the light that brings the subject to life meet.
The approach
I may create portraits, animals, and selected floral or natural subjects in oil or soft pastel.
Each project is considered individually. Before accepting a commission, I make sure the subject, expectations, and my artistic sensibility can truly meet.
Subjects

Works that seek not only a likeness, but the singular presence of a person.

Portraits attentive to expression, character, and the connection we share with the living world.

Flowers, landscapes, and natural subjects approached with the same attention to light and atmosphere.
The process
You introduce the subject, the format you have in mind, and what makes the project meaningful to you.
Together, we clarify the medium, dimensions, reference photographs, and overall spirit of the work.
Once we agree, I create the work in keeping with my artistic approach and the elements we have established.
Payment terms, timing, and delivery are clearly confirmed before work begins.
Good to know
For a portrait, clear, natural, well-lit images provide the strongest foundation. I can guide you in selecting them.
Both vary with the medium, size, and complexity. A personalized proposal is prepared before any commitment.
A commission remains a collaboration: your intentions guide the project, while the pictorial choices remain consistent with my artistic language.
Your project
There is no commitment required to introduce a project or ask about future availability.
